The new high-rise building in Philadelphia which looks like it teleported in from the twenty-first century is the Cira Center. It looms up like a slab-sided gem as one drives into the heart of the city, and it apparently phased in from the far-flung future year of 2004. The property company that owns and is building it has a headquarters about a mile down the road I live on.
